PH’s Primary Care clinic provides STD education, testing and treatment. Tests offered by the clinic includes those which detect syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis, bacterial vaginosis, and HIV

The clinic offers STD testing to people age 13 and older. Parental consent is not necessary for minors. Testing is offered for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV. There is a $10 administration fee, however, no one will be turned away due to inability to pay. Testing is by appointment only. Same-day appointments may be available.

Clinic services and testing available for gonorrhea, chlamydia, NGU, syphilis, trichomoniasis, and HIV. There is a $7.00 Vaccine Administration Fee per vaccine. For all other services, there is a $5 clinic visit fee per visit, per client. Payment method is cash and credit card. All fees are non-refundable. An additional fee is charged for credit card payments.

    STDs / STIs & Their Symptoms

    Bacterial Vaginosis

    Some women with BV don’t know they have it because they have no symptoms. Having BV can increase your chance of getting an STD. For information on symptoms and treatment, visit the CDC site:

    Chlamydia

    Most people who have chlamydia don’t know it since the disease often has no symptoms. It is the most commonly reported STD in the United States. For information on symptoms and treatment, visit the CDC site:

    Genital Herpes

    Genital herpes is a common STD, and most people with genital herpes infection do not know they have it. For information on symptoms and treatment, visit the CDC site:

    Gonorrhea

    Hepatitis B

    Not all people newly infected with HBV have symptoms, but for those that do, symptoms can include fatigue, poor appetite, stomach pain, nausea, and jaundice. For information on symptoms and treatment, visit the CDC site:

    HIV / AIDS

    If you have an STD, you are more likely to get HIV or transmit it to others. For information on symptoms and treatment, visit the CDC site:

    HPV (Human Papilloma Virus)

    Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the United States. Some health effects caused by HPV can be prevented by the HPV vaccines. For information on symptoms and treatment, visit the CDC site:

    PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease)

    PID can cause infertility. If diagnosed and treated early, the complications of PID can be prevented. For information on symptoms and treatment, visit the CDC site:

    Syphilis

    Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) that can have very serious complications when left untreated, but it is simple to cure with the right treatment. For information on symptoms and treatment, visit the CDC site:

    The choice is always yours. The only sure way to avoid pregnancy or infection with an STD/STI is to practice sexual abstinence while single.
